Traveling around the world is one of the most interesting thing I know. It enables you to explore the beauty of the world as well as the culture, customs, practices, traditions and people of the said place you been. Plus it gives you a chance to experience their lifestyle as well as learn their entire history as to how they build their community or nation at large.

Even I myself was dreaming to travel the world aside from the fact that I wanted to relax and unwind myself together with loved-ones. One specific thing why I opted to to travel such place was basically to live their lifestyle and eventually explore the beauty of their foods and other delicacies. Specifically, I wanted to visit those popular Restaurants in specific cities I wish to explore. Reason behind that is I love food! I love to cook as well as explore the other cultures food. Reminiscing my vacation at Tokyo, Japan last year is one of the best thing I have. I miss the place. I miss their foods. I miss daily routine during those times. Even if I wanted to come back to Tokyo I just can’t not because for any reasons but because I really have to face the reality that It wasn’t easy to obtain a Japanese Visa. In fact, my vacation last year was really a blessed one ’cause my Sis really needs my company as she was still pregnant on my second Nephew. Actually, I again apply for Japanese Visa early this year but too bad I was not granted for the second time around. So, decided to look for my destiny and purpose to somewhere else. Hopefully, God will grant me the opportunity I’m working now as I really need to have a stable life in the future. Anyway, Tokyo, Japan is really amazing..explains it all… Here is one of the burger I happened to eat at Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan during our trip there…
I love this one! Pretty much delicious ever!… Hope to eat this one again soon. Have a great day everyone!

Aside from traveling, the other stuff that I love to do is cooking. In fact, I’m really planning to pursue a cooking course anytime soon if I already got enough time to spend on it. Even way back high college years a lot of close friend even my family keeps reminding me to pursue a cooking course. But I don’t really feel that it would be the best thing for me. But as time passes by I really found cooking as one of the most interesting thing to do. ‘Cause as the days passed the more I love to cooked the more I wanted to explore. Though honestly there would be time that I don’t wanna cook and I just love to eat outside but most of the time I often cook. Here some of the photos of foods I cooked. Its a Filipino dish..

So, how was that? Wanna eat with me? Well, this are just among of the few Filipino Foods I loved to cooked. Sooner or later, may be in time I really have to pursue my passion on cooking. Not for any else but for own good. I actually wanted to put up my own restaurant soon. Wish me luck! Have a nice day everyone!

Everyday feast of lovely foods in Cabalen, Metro Manila, Philippines…

On any given day Cabalen’s 10 restaurants in Metro manila and the province of Pampanga, have laid down over 40 dishes of Kapampangan cuisine on their buffet table. For just 242 pesos (less than US$5), cusomters, mostly the family crowd and balikbayans (Filipinos returning from abroad) can partake on an all-you-can-eat, no-left-over feast Filipino favorites like bagnet (crispy fried pork), crispy crablets, kare-kare(pork or beef stew in peanut sauce with shrimp paste dip), pancit (stir-friend noodles), menudo (pork and potato cubes in tomato sauce), and sinigang (tamarind broth) or bulalo (beef shank in peppery soup).
“Food is such an important thing for balikbayan Filipinos”. In every corner of the 10 Cabalen branches is a deli store that sells bottled and canned delicacies, candies and condiments. To one’s surprise, there are also the icons of childhood spent in the provinces back in those days when there were no Game Boys or cable TV: plastic balloons, paper balls, and sipa – a small ball made of straw or wicker.
