borawan is such a beautiful beach. you might want to try other decent beaches in quezon. there are some beautiful beaches in sariaya.

Hi Guys,
Wve been there in Puting Buhangin, & Borawan in Quezon last week. The islands are very serene and relaxing but want to warn you guys… We are not be able to enjoy to swim because of some jellyfish near in the shore. Some of our members stung by jellyfish thats why were so scared and paranoid to swim. If you sting by jellyfish, its seem you get burn and it leave mark in the skin and its really hurt.

me wid my friends are planning to go there dis friday,, coz we heard so much nice compliments about that puting buhangin beach..and as i searched on internet,, der are limited info about the said place…

i was hoping if anyone cud help me give some info,, like:
can we stay there for an overnyt??
how about the cost of entrance fee and cottages??
does we really need to ride on a boat just to get there at puting buhangin??

we are hoping for any response as soon as possible so we can decide earlier about which resort we can go..

do you know if there’s anyplace in the mainland where we can rent a cottage or a room? and just take a boatride to puting buhangin or if the locals there has that accommodation.

Thank you for the info. I’m planning to go to Puting Buhangin this saturday early in the morning. Do you the time first trip of the jeepney going to Pagbilao? I’m planning to travel alone, do you know ow much is the fare on the bangka? I’m planning also to go to Biliran Sandbar, is that far from Puting Buhangin?

taga pagbilao po ako and ive been there for many times, theres a place there an pino na po ang buhangin just like in boracay, remember marina program ni cludine, dun po nagshooting yun, isa po sa private beach sa lugar na yun ang location and we been there on our first wedding aneversary…napakaganda po ng lugar na n yun, mahirap po puntahan pero sulit.. di nakakapagsisi

correction lang po kay bubbles, lucban and tayabas is far from pagbilao it has a different ways if you will take the jeepneys going to lucban and tayabas your heading to laguna and rizal province, the right way is;
1.from lucena grand terminal sakay ka ng jeep going to pagbilao tell the mnong driver na ituro sayo sakayan ng papunta sa hopewell which is mirant now, pagdating sa terminal ng jeep sa pagbilao sakay uli going to pulo (hopwell/mirant) tell to driver na ibaba kayo sa daan papunta ng tulay buhangin, theres a trike there that will bring you in a brgy tulay buhangin where you can find a boat to rent that will bring you in the island, un pong trek na sinabi ni bubbles ay close na ngayun dahil nabili po ng pulitikong mayaman un daan na yun at gusto rin nya bilhin yun resort kaya di na po pinapadaanan ngayun. so di na po pwede maglakad or else you will be charged by tresspassing, hehehe, so the only way now is via boat in tulay buhangin or in the small port in the town proper in pagbilao.
2.from manila you can take a bus in sampaloc manila, AB LINER/MANDIGMA routing to guinayangan or tagkawayan quezon you can chose a aircon or ordinary bus, fare in this bus is cheaper than bus taft or cubao, tell the conductor that you will take off at BINAHAAN CROSSING, IN THE INTERSECTION THERE you can chose in a jeepney or in a trike.. for suggestion. just rent a trike going to tulay buhangin, its more comfortable than waiting nd take a jeepney.
