The Elena Tower Inn was a good place for me on my visit to Iligan City in April 2008. This is a good, solid and secure hotel. I booked a " Standard " room for about 10 days. The room had hot and cold ( not found in every lodging establishment here ) water for the shower and sink. The room was equipped with a Window Air Conditioner, TV, telephone , table and chairs, dressing cabinet for clothes and other storage, night table and reading lamp, tinted glass on the windowss and a comfortable twin sized bed. The room was clean when I arrived. House keeping was good.

Although there are dining facilities within the hotel I did not try them on this visit. Within easy walking distance there are a multitude of dining establishments such as Jollibee, Club Seven Restobar, Red Ribbon Bakery, and most recently a Chow King franchise restaurant. As a first time visitor to this city I wanted to try these places I had read about on the internet, and I enjoyed all of them, and more.

Staff and Management at Elena Towers Hotel were friendly, polite and helpful at all times and were helpful to me in tracking down my luggage that the international air carrier that got me to The Philippines had lost on me during flight transfers. There is a nice lobby and reception area on the ground floor of this hotel, very basic although comfortable, clean and for me most inviting.

If you are looking for something like " The Crowne Plaza " of the " MGM Grand " or the Marriot Marquis, then this hotel may not be what you are looking for although I dont think there are western style luxury hotels by American, UK, or Euro standards in Iligan.

Although not centered in the busy " downtown " area of Iligan City, access to it is only a few minutes away by the many forms of public transportation. If you are driving yourself there is a secure parking lot behind Elena Towers Inn.

By my observation, this is a good, solid, and secure hotel, ideally situated for my visit and they have earned my repeat business for the future.

Unfortunately I know of no website for this Hotel as of this time.

Hello Wilson! thank u for posting this very comprehensive info about your beautiful hometown. I’ll let you know kung definite na ang aking pagpunta dyan sa Iligan early next year. Mukha nga maraming magagandang lugar dyan that Filipinos need to explore.

By the way, I have a question… Malayo ba yung Bulua terminal dun sa Agora terminal papunta ng Butuan kse a few months ago I paid the taxi from the CDO airport to Agora terminal just 150 pesos?
